Julian Velard - Sentimental

Julian is a musician, native New Yorker, and part time London resident presenting a masterpiece collection of perfect and unorthodox pop tunes and a voice that sounds like it came straight off the Dock of the Bay. Blending effortless cool, with a naturally charming motor mouth, he has created his own brand of classic 70's inspired piano pop. A former Parisian street sweeper and nursery school gym teacher, Julian was plucked from relative obscurity for his 2009 debut 'The Planeteer' after he was discovered on MySpace and found himself at the centre of a record company bidding war. In 2011 'Mr. Saturday Night' was released.

Julian é um músico nova-iorquino, que atualmente vive em Londres. Já fez de tudo, foi garí em Paris e até prof. de ginástica em creche. Ele lançou seu primeiro CD 'The Planeteer' em 2009. Mostrando q tem como influência Elton John e (piano) POP dos anos 70. Saindo relativamente do anonimato, foi descoberto no MySpace e se viu em uma disputa de gravadoras por seu nome. Agora vcs podem curtir esta faixa - Sentimental - do álbum Mr. Saturday Night, de 2011, q está fazendo bastante sucesso lá fora (na Holanda). E outras gravações bacanas também, como 'On to Something'!

Pessoalmente, não sou mto fanática por nenhuma das bandas.. mas reconheço q esse remix ficou da hr, animal..acho q a união deu liga, pois ambos tem estilo: Florence com seu perfume cosmic/ethno/Glam-rock-'Alt./Retrô..(enfim, de talento, meio difícil de descrever) ..e o XX tb é original.. apesar de eu não gostar tanto da banda.
